Catering Cost

Lentsch Catering provides excellent food and service while remaining as transparent as possible for your event. We don't want there to be any surprises along the way.

Our meal cost is made up of four components--the cost of food & beverage, a service fee, staffing, rentals & add-ons services, and applicable taxes.

Catering Cost Breakdown

Food & Beverage

2 Areas

Food: Based on menu selected from number of items, courses, buffet, plated, passed are added together and this varies based on each event.

Beverage: Wine pairings, alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages for the event.

Service Fee

Fixed

This is a standard 20%. This goes to cover the chef's time to write the menu, shop, develop menu items, cooking, nutritional information(if requested), labor and overhead related expenses like the commercial kitchen.

Staffing, Rentals & Add On

Adjustable

(Optional) Based on your type of event there may be action stations with a Chef or additional service staffing, rentals or add on services that you requested like additional linens, zero waste, upgraded plates, flatware and glassware etc.

Taxes

Based on your location

Based on your address we will add any federal, state or local applicable taxes to your order.

Our Process

Our team will guide you through a fun and painless process to have a successful event!

Step 1: Initial Consultation

We want to learn as much about
your dietary habits, goals and
wants/needs are.

Step 2: Menu planning & selection based event type and your needs.

Our team will work with you on
selecting a menu type, service style, presentation, event flow that works for you!

Step 3: Draft Banquet Event Order (BEO) to final BEO.

This is where all the details for your event are worked out, menu is finalized, you will see all the cost for your event

Step 4: Sign BEO and Catering Contract

Simple and handled digitally.

This is where the fun begins! Once the catering contract is signed and the BEO is finalized we take the ball and run!

Step 5: Prior to event

We are coordinating with you on final count, any menu changes or requests are taken care of.

Step 6: Day of event

Our team will deliver/drop off, setup, serve, plate and clean up based on your event BEO and communicate and coordinate with you for a seamless event!
